"Garden of Hope"
What do we do?
Club volunteers look after the "Garden of Hope" on the Scarborough campus of Maine Medical Center. Tasks include planting, weeding and dead-heading, dividing perennials, adding compost and mulch, and pruning.
Seven or eight teams of two gardeners are also needed weekly late June through early October to tend and water the garden.
Established in 2003 by our club, this inviting and tranquil garden features white blooms.

Who can help?
Many hands make light work! Both experienced and novice gardeners are welcome. Please bring your gloves, hand tools, hat and water and sunscreen.
Thank you, donors!
Thanks to the generosity of donors, we were able to add shrubs and perennials to the garden during the 2021 planting season.
