Check out our new yearbook for 2023-24 for all the news and programs coming up for the coming year.
This year's cover art is “Standing strong,” a painting by Scarborough Garden Club member Patrice Kastenholz as a gift to a friend who was going through a difficult time in her life. The Birches represent the friend and seem to be floating, ungrounded, but in fact, they are standing strong…Mother Nature giving the strength to go on. Club Officers

We are looking forward to reconvening our club members with an exciting and informative slate of programs this year! Join us! The cover for this year's club yearbook is a painting by club member Patrice Kastenholz. "“Garden of My Dreams" is an impressionistic interpretation of Patrice's garden at her camp on Bustins Island, Maine.
Did you see the article in this week's Scarborough Leader? The Garden of Hope was featured! Read it here.
The 2022 Plant Sale at the Hunnewell House was a resounding success for our club, thanks to all the helping hands. Proceeds from the sale fund our programs and charitable activities. Mark your calendars for next year's sale: Saturday, June 3, 2023.
Have you seen the finished brickwork around the Hunnewell House herb garden? We think it's beautiful. Note the metal edge to keep the bricks in place. Mike Mercier did a good job of preparing the foundation under the bricks, and they will be stable for a long time.
Club members pose with posies! Each year club members gather at Broad Turn Farm to make flower arrangements for Scarborough Land Trust's annual fundraiser dinner at the farm.
Thanks to the generosity of club members, the Garden of Hope, located on the Scarborough campus of Maine Medical, has new shrubs and perennials. Established in 2003, this tranquil garden features white blooms. Donors, Garden of Hope, 2020-2021
